The Relocation Company Reaches Agreement With Runzheimer to Provide Living Cost and Travel Cost Data

The Relocation Company of Littleton, Massachusetts has reached an agreement with Runzheimer International, The Rochester Wisconsin-based management consulting firm to provide cost-of-living and lump-sum or relocation-related travel cost data and information to their clients using an on-line Windows-based software application, according to Joyce Friedgen, principal at The Relocation Company.

Runzheimer gathers and analyzes cost-of-living information (housing, transportation, taxes and goods & services) throughout North America and worldwide for application with employee relocation, group moves, new hire recruiting, site selection and wage/salary programs. The firm also provides a Lump-Sum Allowance Plan which enables organizations to provide a single, up-front payment to a transferee for expenses relating to homefinding, temporary living and travel.

"We can make this information available to our clients through the Runzheimer Relocation Manager, an on-line, Windows-based integrated software application that links the user directly to the Runzheimer database via a personal computer and modem," says Friedgen.
